Our technical sales team is actively involved in training the next generation of industry professionals: As lecturers at the Bad Wildungen woodworking school, our corrosion protection experts pass on their practical knowledge to prospective specialists.

As part of the inter-company training course for wood mechanics specializing in wooden packaging, participants learn comprehensive fundamentals about corrosion and its prevention in export packaging. In addition to the formation of corrosion, the course focuses on typical risks within packaging and various temporary corrosion protection methods. These include the protective coating method, the VCI method, and the use of desiccants. Based on real-world examples of damage, participants also gain an understanding of the potential causes of corrosion damage and how to effectively prevent it.

In addition to theoretical knowledge transfer, practical application is also a key focus. Participants learn, among other things, how to manufacture aluminum composite packaging, how to properly weld PE films, and how to produce shrink wrap.

The course was developed jointly with the German Federal Association of Wooden Packaging, Pallets and Export Packaging (HPE) and complements the content of vocational school with practical specialist knowledge for the packaging industry.

With our commitment, we want to contribute to passing on practical expertise and strengthening the next generation of specialists in export packaging and corrosion protection.
