SUSTAINABLE AND CLOSED CYCLE CONCEPT
The idea behind it is as simple as it is ingenious: Instead of buying corrosion protection films, simply rent them. The purpose of the VCI film is to protect parts or components from corrosion, moisture, and dirt during transport or storage.
The film itself is merely a means to an end. With the "ReLease" concept, you only pay for what you really need – the protection of your parts and components for a specific period of time. After the film has been used, we collect the CORPALIN film and reprocess it into granulate.
VCI film is then produced from this granulate – creating a sustainable, closed material cycle.
Corpac Re-Lease briefly explained:
- Products are wrapped with Corpalin® VCI film and prepared for further transport to the next production facility.
- At the production facility, the goods are unpacked and the VCI corrosion protection film is collected.
- Corpac provides you with a film press. This press compresses the used VCI films into transportable bales.
- Corpac will then collect the sorted films from you.
- We now produce high-quality plastic granules from these VCI films.
- We use this recycled granulate to produce new COEX VCI films.
- These VCI films are available again for further use.
