What does VCI mean and what is a VCI film? A VCI film (Volatiles Corrosion Inhibitor film) is a special VCI corrosion protection film that is used to wrap metal workpieces, machine parts or other sensitive materials. The film contains special active substances that are deposited on the metal surface and protect it from corrosion attacks by water and oxygen.

The VCI film offers several advantages:

• Long-term effect: The volatile corrosion inhibitors have a long-lasting effect and protect the metal over a longer period of time, even during storage or transportation.
• Easy to use: The film can be easily wrapped around the material to be protected or used as a bag.
